Sanket Reddy is a man of many facets - entrepreneur, social activist, conservationist and wildlife photographer in equal measures. However, being a photographer, we suspect, is his biggest love. He is the Director of an infrastructure and construction company and a responsible social citizen who has contributed his personal time and resources to help build sewage systems and schools in rural areas. Sanket is also part of many local conservation programs and agendas, and is unique in supporting through lifetime adoption, a lion cub in a biological park near Bangalore.
His love for nature has its roots in early childhood. Sanket took to 'serious' photography about a decade ago when he felt the urge to document his experiences and observations of nature and the wild, where he spends a lot of his free time. He is a Co-founder & Director of the Shutter Season Photography Workshops, set up to assist aspiring nature, travel and wildlife photographers hone their aesthetic and technological skills in this area.
Sanket’s work has featured in several magazines and newspapers. Sanket is best known for his contribution to the award-winning wildlife documentary, 'The Pack' that featured on the popular wildlife TV Channel, Animal Planet.
Sanket intends to publish his own book someday. Its purpose, he states, is to transmit the wonders of the wild to those who do not have the time or the means to travel and admire nature in its myriad forms as seen around the world and to communicate the message of wildlife conservation.
